Rice Silica™
Rice Silica offers a fundamentally different route to high-purity amorphous silica for semiconductor materials. Conventional silica production depends on mined quartz, centralized mineral refining, energy-intensive processing, and long-distance supply chains. Jikantechno instead converts renewable agricultural biomass into high-purity amorphous silica through a proprietary reactor, controlled thermal processing, and optimized purification.
Unlike conventional lecture-based methods, TCP/IP Carta delivers hands-on, collaborative learning ideal for classrooms and training programs.
FUTURE POSSIBILITIES
Expanding Rice Silica™ beyond rice husks
Rice husks are the first demonstrated feedstock for Rice Silica™, but Jikantechno’s vision extends beyond one agricultural resource or region. The same core manufacturing platform can be adapted to other locally available biomass, creating opportunities to turn regional agricultural by-products into high-value semiconductor materials.
Interest includes initiatives exploring coffee-processing biomass in the United States and regional biomass applications in Europe. By enabling production closer to renewable raw-material sources, the platform can reduce dependence on imported mineral resources and strengthen regional semiconductor supply chains.
Jikantechno is preparing ISCC PLUS certification for renewable material traceability and advancing REACH compliance and other regional regulatory requirements. Rice Silica™ combines environmental sustainability, advanced materials manufacturing, and global technology licensing in a scalable model for future semiconductor material supply.
